there have been a number of other tackles that should/could have been carded that may have eventually resulted in a double yellow. unlikely but possible. but it definitely should have been 11 on 10.

Unlike bitching about the ref in the Holland-Mexico game, the complaining about the ref in this one is legit.
France should definitely be playing a man down.

Meh, tigerdroppings.com doesn't make some one a veteran of any sport. I've been a stalker for years on here for what it's worth. Also played soccer since I was 8.
Also, I have this game on DVR. Can't watch it at work, so I'll see what the fuss is about tonight.

I don't think anyone is saying it's the most unfair game ever. I'd hope we wouldn't devolve into the First Take gasbaggery like that.
But there were two legitimate red cards that could have been handed out to France. That's all.

People on this board bitch about officiating way too much. France was the better team, nigeria played well but they had no cutting edge, no quality in the final third. As soon as Griezeman came on for giroud France killed them. It could've been 4 or 5-0 easily.
Also I can't believe people wanted Nigeria to win, Germany and France is going to be an awesome game on so many levels. frick all the African teams they're just the worst
