I kinda was. Don't care about the soccer boards cliquish group-think. They aren't in our group, and they played a hell of a game.

No kidding. We all are just "new" fans, because, you know. Meanwhile ol Pettahogger hasn't seen 5 matches this year.

It's not a cliquish group-think thing. They're our biggest rival, you don't cheer for your rivals. Thats Sports 101

Remember, mnb is the same guy who thinks that Judas made the "right decision."

And that Di Canio was better than MON and would be great at Sunderland.

Dumb arse Louisiana Tech fan. If it was up to him, we would have turned down the World Cup to wait for an invitation to Euro 2016.

Fwiw, I lurk on this board because in every single thread there is almost a hipster attitude from posters protecting their places on the board as the only "real" soccer fans.

It is the same way IRL

It's what will keep soccer from being enjoyed by the masses as quick as it should.

Yeah, hipsters are really known for hating Mexico.

US soccer fans have been "different" for a while. They're losing their uniqueness, and some of them don't take it well. Hell, a fair amount were attracted to it for the uniqueness.

Brazil is the bigger threat in this tourney. Rivals, or not, I saw a good game and got a good result.

I look forward to when our "rivals" are teams that we beat on the world stage, for worldwide prizes.

I wish Mexico to lose every single other match. This one was different.
