Seems like too much smoke for this not to be true and I can honestly say I don't blame him. ENIC used the success that Poch and Kane brought the team to build a billion-dollar stadium rather than improve the squad. Now we are going to be left with a shiny new stadium and neither Poch or Kane to fill it.

If the price tag is too high for City what would y’all think about a swap of Kane for someone like Gabriel Jesus + cash?

I know player swaps of this caliber are rare but there will be a ton of clubs strapped for cash for at least another year or so. I could see it becoming more common for a while.

I'm not opposed to a player+cash deal.
However, I'm not sure if I'd be huge on Jesus. Just have mixed feelings on him for some reason.

However, if Spurs could get Ake or Laporte+cash, and then try to go buy an Ings, Watkins, or Bamford (sorry S) then I'd be all in.

Yeah, after watching the espnfc guys last night it seems the only way someone buys Kane is if Levy allows him to go for well below market value, seems unlikely, or if there is a player + cash deal. As for Gabriel Jesus I’m not sure I want him.

Give me Ferran Torres + 90-100m. Then Levy go get Danny Ings & Jack Grealish. Sell off a lot of dead weight and use that money to bring in Max aarons or lamptey & a proper established CB....and maybe then I’ll be able look forward to a season without Harry Kane at Tottenham.

Yeah, same. And I’m not sure if that’s fair because I really don’t know much about him. However, I get the impression that if he’s not walking into an established team with an established coach he could be a nightmare for a club, in terms of attitude.

Lol as crazy as it sounds that honestly isn’t a crazy scenario.

If you can get 2-3 starters for Kane with a player swap and the cash then this squad isn’t that much worse

I admit it's not a name that jumps off the page for me, but the more I read about the improvement of his teams the more I would be open to Potter. This article is a really interesting read. xG and analytics don't always tell the story on a per-game basis, but when it's over a full season there is definitely some merit to it.

Also, I think Mason has a big career ahead of him. Along with winning 3 out of 4 in the PL, his ability to step into this situation and answer questions regarding a new manager, Harry Kane leaving, etc has been exceptional. I hope we can find a place for him at the club.

Pathetic half. Looks like a team that doesn’t give a shite.

The Kane news certainly has all of them distracted

And they're lying if they say it's not affecting them

Sorry. His insistence on playing Winks over Ndombele ruins it all for me.

Embarrassing. First game back with fans, and that’s what the players show. Mason’s team selection was a joke again. Dele & Reguilon were shocking. Winks getting actual playing time makes me laugh. Son & Kane did frick all, but were never really serviced either. Lloris should’ve gotten penalized for that foul in the box early first half. No clue wtf he was doing.

Im just glad the fans booed their arse off the pitch at half, and at the end of the match. Wish the boos lasted longer tbh.

Did they? Good. I turned it off in stoppage time.

Nah. Get out of here with that nonsense.

Spursy is blowing a title race to Leicester, but then still having a chance to finish above your main rival for the first time in 20 years and managing to lose 1-5 to a 10 man Newcastle on the final day of the season to finish 3rd behind Arsenal and Leicester.

Congrats to Trippier and Eriksen on winning their leagues this year!

Can’t imagine Harry is enjoying this.
