Very facepalm worthy. The end of the season will probably point to those games.

Still can't believe that.

Flanno got 30 minutes in a U21 match. He's being eased back since it's been so long since he's played, but we could really use him for depth.

Getting a 13/14 level Flanno back would be huge - could play LB or RB and spell both guys.
I'm also wondering how we got so screwed with this schedule? We'll have very very short rest before West Ham this weekend - WEst Ham will have TWO full days more rest on a short game week. Then we turn around and have to play mid-week - so essentially 3 games in 7 days while none of our opponents have to do that (they each get 2 additional days for that three game stretch). How the hell does the FA allow this screwey mid-week stretch to be spread over 3 days?

At least we didn't play Saturday, and then Monday just like everybody else.
Everyone gets fricked with the EPL scheduling.

The difference being that everyone was in the same boat for that. Now we're no better off than Sunderland (Saturday - Wednesday) for tomorrow, and well worse off for West ham (West ham is Monday - Saturday and we are Wednesday to Saturday)

Meh, I'm fine with it. It's like having a Champions League match in he middle of the week. Which is what we are one day aiming for, yes?

Looking forward to the match today... been driving all around creation for the past week and didn't get to watch on Saturday...
I'm really interested to watch this Lovren/Sakho partnership... My original thoughts were he was brought in to partner Sakho from the beginning (should have known w/Rodgers)... Who knows.. maybe playing on his strong side, along side a better partner and not having to cover for Moreno, will prove to be good for him... a strong DM sitting in front of him would help as well...
At this point, I'm glad we'll see these two get a run of games, cause Skrtel is not good and well, I gotta hope for the best..

I guess its time for Mannone to turn into Superman today...

Yeah, apparently so, we should have at least one or two already, I do think we'll break through in the 2nd half though

We have no single player on our team who can consistently make something happen. Just look sluggish and refuse to play direct or decisive.
Just another one of those matches. Our pressing has been poor too

shite, I thought he was unlucky to get a yellow, unless you mean a red for dissent... I mean he certainly got the man and it was a foul, but to me he clearly got the ball too. FK and that's it for me
