Back to Liverpool, after Benteke are we done? I still feel like we are a little shallow in defense. If Can and Lucas are here as DMs, with Allen mixing in, we should be good but CB depth is a bit questionable.

Meh, I know he was better. But coming from where he was, thats not saying a lot.
I know he has the ability, hopefully it was just a shitty season for him. Luckily we got Sakho who is a complete badass and should be vice captain.

From what I've seen he's pretty interchangeable across the front but primarily on the wings

Yea no doubt he's a hell of a player, versatile too. Problem is we've got a shite ton of players that are known for that.
He would no doubt bring an immediate upgrade in quality though.
Whats the fee? Is he supposed to be on a free?

Pedro is no doubt a good player, but I don't think we need him. We have a lot of young players in his position that will need game time to fully realize their potential. I'm happy with what we have. If we make any other deals, I think it should be LB and CDM. We also need to get going on trimming the fat from our squad (balo, lambert, borini, Enrique etc)

I don't know if we have any other player in our squad with his skill set... but it all depends on what Rodgers vision is for this team.. he is a forward, best suited in a 4-3-3
But I'd rather spend that kind of coin on a DM...

Ibe with a nice run. Hoping he becomes a bit more clinical this year and should have a few opportunities.
Reading mostly good individual reports from the game which you like to see for a preseason game. Moreno apparently has a little injury but is back training.

Medel, or a player like him, is the missing link (assuming Benteke is ours)
He's not a Matic quality player, but the guy is really good at what he does, and like a lot of Chileans he's an all around player. Hopefully we'll push hard for him, the guy was just a beast in the Copa America
