I wasn't disagreeing, just putting in my 2 cents... I'd almost rather take my lumps with him in the side.. He'll only get better
Tadic is gonna give a lot of fullbacks problems.. He was very good..
I know, I was just putting more specifics about my thoughts and where the downs were to discuss where he is. I'm not one who can't stand others having a different opinion, even if if the same just expressed different.
He'll get better, but I'm not certain I want his lumps earned against City, Chelsea, etc, though there may not be a choice.

He'll improve. But I do think he starts on Monday. And I think Johnson does too.

Yeah, I can see that... Maybe he throws Moreno in the mix, but I think it's 50/50...
Other than that, I gotta believe the only other change will be Allen for Lucas

Coutinho has been called up to the Selecao by Dunga... Well deserved!

So, the word today is we are prepared to invest £20mm this season (fee/wages) for Falcao, on loan...
If he's willing to come and it helps you get in top 4 again next season, I say do it (though I'd like to see a right of first refusal to make the deal permanent)!

For £20m (wages & fees) for 1 season I would take it, and I would not think twice about it.

Yep, if we make top 4, it was worth it... If not, we gave it a good go and not on the hook with his wages.
Plus side is, if we don't, I don't see any other players on our roster that we'd need to offload their wages or would demand to move on... The squad is so young and talented!

I would be ok with that. Price is steep but it's a good risk and i would much rather that than 15m less on eto who can't lead the line three times in a week if sturridge is out.
What are the thoughts for our point total the next three weeks? At city will be very tough. Have to figure getting a point there would be huge. I'm glad we get Tottenham early as we struggle against the system he runs (at least at shamp) and I'd rather get them early when it may not be firing on full cylinders.
7 points after 3 games would make me very happy. But if we lose to city we absolutely must win at Tottenham. Less than 6 would be a disappointment.

I'd be thrilled with 4, but we need at least 3 IMO...
Both road games, so they will be tough...

I want 7 points. But I'll settle for 9.

At least 3. I'm hearing that Lavezzi might happen real soon. If so I would love that signing. As stated here many times I really like him and think he would be fantastic for our youngsters both on and off the pitch. The guy is a pro and severely underrated.

Teixeira has put Brighton on the board today.

I read that earlier on Teixeira. Hope he can get a lot of valuable playing time and rejoin the 1st team next season.

Lucas no longer has a role in this side. He can't play in a high line system so our line immediately drops 5 yards with him in the XI.
In 63 minutes he completed 19 pressing attempts. In 27 mins Joe Allen completed 16, literally doubling Lucas' presses per minute.
I am beyond speechless that Rodgers started him.

I'm getting worn out by this window. I wouldn't mind securing Romero and finishing with Bony and get after it.

I'd be over the moon with 4 points over the next two. I think it'll be more likely 3. I can even see 1. Then again I'm pretty fricking pessimistic all the time.
