It's not his antics that would worry me, it's his apathetic play, at times, that would be intolerable... His talent is unquestioned IMO
I would think that BR is the kind of man who can bring out the best in Balotelli. But I definitely see your point. As a club making great moves, and developing something special with the players, do we really want to bring in the potential to disrupt that? Might not be worth it.

Yeah, I would like to think so too... But, no manager has yet... That was one of the reasons it was easy to look past a lot of Suarez's issues... He always gave his all on the pitch, every game... Not to mention his obvious talent..

Balotelli in LFC red would be amazing

Ha... I actually was thinking about you when this was brought up... I know you've wanted him in red for a while now...

For 14m, I would love to have him.

it's definitely an intriguing situation... I wouldn't hate it at that price and would ultimately support it, but would still be skeptical of his attitude... and obviously hope to be proven wrong..
edit: we need another striker badly... actually a Borini/Balotelli swap wouldn't be bad at all, given we have a £14mm offer on the table for him

He's probably our last chance to make a big striker signing. There's nobody else out there that I see us getting

I'm planning on making the trip to Liverpool soon and the idea of potentially getting handed a few hundred pounds out of a car window is too exciting to handle.
Sign him. I want free money.

When? I'll go with you unless you are doing this with ole guurl

Ole girl would be a positive not a negative. She's trained to let me get blackout then get food for everyone and pay for rides home. She also lets me embarrass myself whenever the chance arises which my friends seem to really enjoy.
Regardless, I don't know when or if she's coming. Shooting for the spring towards the end of the season though.

Marca saying Deportivo have agreed personal terms with Tiago Ilori... Just up to us to agree to it..
Also, markovic didn't fly home with the rest, so there's a chance he'll see the pitch tomm..

Watched a bit of the 'Pool/Stoke replay this morning on NBCSports.
Damn, we're going to miss how hard Suarez worked. Cleared ball bouncing towards the Stoke Goal, Suarez has no business pushing it the way he does, forces a bad touch from a defender with the keep coming up and scores an easy goal.
I think thats the kind of thing that will be tough to replace.
And Balotelli at 14m seems like a bargain, but his wages will be high and I'm sure the headaches will be too. If BR things he can reign him in (when no one else has), I will have no choice, but I'd rather he wasn't brought in.

2nded.... Balotelli, even at 14m, is still too much of a "me" player, and we don't need that... we need "team" players, as we have bigger aspirations and expectations this season... we do need another striker, but it shouldn't be Balotelli, no matter how talented he is...

I get the feeling the club is looking to finish with Alves and Reus which would be a dream scenario. I am a Vidal fan big time, I just love what the guy brings to the table. The fact that we are seriously talking names like this after the window we have already have is exciting as he'll!

So exciting I can't spell hell.
