My only question about Monchi/Emery is doing the same work in the EPL and the adjustment it may take. But its a worthy experiment.

I just hate that we're to the point that experiments are what we have.

Is this a bad time to ask if we can keep Coates?

Hope you guys get Klopp...seems like it'd be a great fit.

This is fricking joke........but this has to force FSG's hand regarding a REAL change.

It's on FSG now... I don't see how they can evaluate him at the end of the season, and not take this match in to consideration... IMO, it is the last straw... This is an embarrassment... He's lost the team, the supporters... and if that isn't enough, there is Klopp out there in the wind, without a club... This is an easy decision...

I think this is clearly a case of Rodgers reputation being made by a top five player in the world.

He's pretty much a top 8 coach without him.

Hell, Monk is doing a good job at Swansea, maybe we should go for him and give him 3 years?

I think it would obviously not be a guarantee, but a lot of the value Monchi has brought in has been outside of Spain... Emery has done well in La Liga and Europe (yes its Europa, but two finals in two years and competing in one of the top leagues in world football)..

One of the advantages the clubs on the continent have is the ability to buy SA talent for cheap and young... But outside of Dani Alves, his most impressive buys have been out of Europe..

Do we not have anyone that can deliver a halfway decent corner? I can give a better cross than anything I've seen today.

Anyone know what Klopp made at bvb and what BR currently makes?

I think he's a very good offensive coach and developer of youth, but obviously he's lacking on the defensive side and far from a total package... Where I think he really lacks is as a "manager," especially at the club the size of LFC.. He has promise and may end up being good enough one day, but IMO, we can't wait for him to get there...

His ego can also take getting knocked down a peg or two...

I'm not sure, but we can afford to pay much more than BvB when it comes to players/coaches...

boy am I glad I can't watch this dumpster fire

From what it sounds like, I'm leaning towards the sack Rodgers bandwagon. Injuries and all the other bullshite aside, this is a fricking embarrassment

Since we last spoke... Skrtel should've been sent off and it should be 6-0

About the only positives right now... Gerrard playing best of all on the pitch for us, and Lallana has turned it up since his shite start.

I really feel for Lallana. He has had the piss beat out of him this match. He has our only two shots on goal, and as I type it, Stevie nets one.

Ego definitely needs to be checked.

And I think he's a bit over-rated as an offensive mind - mainly because of how many bad decisions he's made this year.

But Monk has shown that what he did at Swansea is nothing special. And without Suarez, we have an awful lot of possession this year with very few chances created.

Gerrards last goal very similar to his first....
