Just got to watch the Balotelli penalty kick... I think this thing is overblown. Henderson is clearly upset, but Studge tries to keep him away and Balotelli hugs Hendo repeatedly after the goal.
I understand the Captain thing and having respect for him, but Balotelli didn't mean any disrespect. He is just supremely confident, which is something that has been missing from our team since Gerrard's slip late last season.
Glad to have someone the caliber of Balotelli. He needs more minutes and I have been screaming that for a while, along with a few others like Jacky V. He can't play as a lone striker, but not playing him much this year was a huge mistake by BR if you ask me.

The reason I want to see Balotelli succeed so bad with us is because of his talent...period. He has the type of ability, when confident and in form, that few can match in terms of raw ability. I think BR was forced to try him up top by himself, due to injuries and some poor form from our strikers, which he just doesn't do well. But with Studge back and people playing well all over the pitch for us he has come in the last three games and been the difference. I'm starting to get that feeling in my stomach that I walked around with all last year until the slip and Palace. Three today would just be fricking huge!

It's early but I believe I saw that we have one tie and three losses in our last four trips to st Mary's. Need to break that trend today.
