I'm not sure about leaving Gerrard on
And frick Wynalda

I still think we need a change. I can't possibly fathom trusting Rodgers with another transfer window

Well, Europa is probably our only shot at CL at this point
Posted on 12/9/14 at 4:29 pm to LSUSOBEAST1
Are we required to stick to our 20 man roster that were marked for CL in Europa?
Cause I'd send the U21s. And I'd do it next year too assuming we can even finish high enough in the league to be a part of it.
We have zero creativity. And I think its official that Skrytel is our best CF by far.
Frankly, this entire CL hasn't been all that fun. We've had a few minutes of good play against Real. And a few moments towards the end here. Other than that, we've played awful (like we have almost all year in all fixtures).

I'd like to thank Skrtel for being one of the 3-4 players on the pitch that actually gave a frick for the entire game

WHERE WAS THIS EARLIER IN THE frickING GAME AND ALL YEAR?
100% agree
I mean, there comes a point where we have to push for a goal and damn the consequences. You can't do that to early or we're down 2-0 and its definitely over. Basel also withdraws the later the game gets - especially after we tie it up.
I think its just not practical to think we were saving that for the last 10 minutes - you try that earlier, and you get embarrassed.
What we need to figure out is why we have ZERO creativity running our base stuff. I mean, through 87 or so minutes, our best shot in the run of play was from our CB and it wasn't even on target. We had nothing that threatened the GK until Stevie's free kick.

Skrtel's shot?? that shite was close... from that range, i was VERY surprised by the shot, especially from Shankel himself...

It really sucks that my two favorite teams have been a complete $#!t show on offense this year. Very frustrating fall.

It was close, but not so close the GK even made a move for it.

i feel your frustration, but don't marginalize the shot... it was a fantastic strike... a foot or so to the right, at that height, and that's going in....

I took the comment as why did we come out completely flat in the first half. Zero creativity; awful passing; almost no energy; and sub-par defending.

Man... Sitting here waiting to board this plane and thinking about this club... If we put out that same crap against, United and Arsenal in the next couple weeks, two far from very good teams... frick BR, he can go...
May change my mind, but for now... Can't stand to see his face and hear the drivel come out of his mouth...
We probably couldn't get anyone decent in Jan, but I don't care... Bring someone in on a temp basis (not KK) and reassess this summer

I don't know what to think, but its looking like we'll be 13 off of 4th come January (at least, if not worse). There's no one to bring in, and I genuinely think Brendan is a good coach, but what the frick is going on with these lineups? 4 holding midfielders when we need a win? Really? I'm hoping against hope he turns this around this weekend (desperately hoping), but I highly doubt it.

right there with you....
i know the injuries have put him and the team sorta in a bind, but damn... time to stop experimenting and start actually putting out a line up of guys that play an actual spot on the field... stop being so stubborn and adapt...

Yes, stop playing favorites and being so damn stubborn for fricks sake! I don't think Borini is great, but don't trot out old arse Lambert that many times on no rest, in games that are this important...
And what the frick purpose was there to start Jose Enrique, just for him to be subbed off at the half... Cost us a sub (Lallana maybe?)later in the match...
FSG have proven to be ruthless in their sporting endeavors and with a big investment in renovating Anfield... I'm sure they don't want to so soon, but I think they will fire him unless we show some sort of hope...

We put a fullback on who's primary attacking instinct is to put a cross in. THEN WE TAKE OFF LAMBERT.
I don't even.
I don't even.

Arsenal in the next couple weeks,
We are getting healthy. Debuchy back and rested many key players. Ramsey looks like last year's version with goals and assists coming. I have no idea why Coutinho isn't your creative force.

I think you're the better side and I can take losing, but not with the display we've seen recently... Something's gotta change...
