Yeah not sure why we have him if he's never going to see the field in meaningful minutes. Would rather sell, recoup those funds, and buy someone who the manager will play if that's the case.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Studge, but there's zero point in having such a world class asset if you don't play the guy.

Well, BPG... To that end, I just saw where we have possibly made a €30M bid for Brazilian forward Luan.

I saw that. My response would be, "who?"

Haha! Yeah... Curious bid, if you ask me. Of course, I am a member of the "sign a RB at all costs" camp.

The normal Brasilian mark-up. He's the very definition of a project.
Are y'all going to cut bait with Moreno?
ETA: Also, thanks for Kolo

unbelievable.... we have a fricking aging CM playing LB and we want to spend more money on forwards?? we already have Sturridge picking splinters out of his arse and we want to give him a mate to chat with on the bench??
dude....

Luan would be a good signing... a bit of a late bloomer, who grew up playing futsal...
He would be a good signing...
I agree that I think we have other priorities, but Klopp seems like he wants to persevere with players he thinks he can mold (even though one is 30 yrs old)..

Looks like we're getting Balotelli off the books.

Where is he heading to? Last I saw Palermo was in the picture, but he was most definitely going back to Italy if he were to move.

Not sure, but I think I saw he had thrown some sort of farewell party with his friends.

And looks like Sakho could be off to Sunderland on loan
Latest rumor after he turned down Stoke and West Brom but he was apparently told to find another club this year

I cannot believe this shite with Sakho. Simply unbelievable!!!
Posted on 8/30/16 at 12:51 pm to JackVincennes
I mean there obviously has to be stuff going on behind the scenes so as much as I love him, I can't make a judgement if there's some kind of discipline issue.

I dont know what to think anymore... Honestly, I'd just go ahead and sell Sakho and replace him with a quality CB (too late).. And that should have bee done a month ago... maybe his injury and official clearance from WADA was a barrier???
I just cant see him working his way back into Klopp's good graces... or maybe he can... I dunno...

Damn, thats sad to hear. Guy gave us a fighting chance last year, but there has to be something going on behind the scene to tell him to get going. Especially when at worst he offers really solid experienced depth.

I will say this about Sakho - this is now two managers who don't rate him as the number 1 choice at Liverpool.
Plus, he's the only CB we have who is purely a LCB - all of the other ones (except Gomez) can play LCB. So in that way, of all of them, he's the least flexible in position and depth.
I do have a hard time understanding Sakho though when Lovren is terrible and keeps starting.

Except after he got suspended.
Was the suspension eventually overturned? Yes. But he wouldn't have been suspended in the first place if he hadn't been taking a diet pill that the team didn't know he was taking.
And why do you take diet pills? Because you're having difficulty keeping the weight off? When you're training? In mid-season? Sounds like either Mama was on the see-food diet when he needed to be in the top condition demanded of an EPL player or he needed "diet pills" for something else.
Klopp wanted that Europa League silverware. He wanted it bad. And Mama was a prime contributor in screwing that up.
Then he came back to summer training showing up late to meetings, missing physical therapy sessions, missed the team plane for the states, missing team meals, and generally goofing off.
Gosh, I can't imagine why Klopp isn't taking him seriously as a selection for his team at this point.

I think Klopp did, prior to the ban... it just all went to shite after that... suspension, injury, getting sent home...
edit: I mean, I can see how Klopp is probably pissed at him and not sure if he can trust him...
Klavan is a left footed CB, so I'd say he is a LCB...
