Well, we sure don't like doing things the easy way. 3 points is a must next week though.
Couple of points - Gini had less touches than Migs - two games in a row now I believe. This has been an on-going issue (listening to Anfield Index) where Gini's touches have been way down -especially against the bottom teams. So basically - the more possession we have, the less he touches the ball. Very weird. But he seems to not be contributing anything, and would be my pick to take out of the lineup this weekend (to add Lallana). I feel like Gini is the kind of guy who really enhances things when we're playing well, but doesn't seem to provide anything to lift us up when we're playing poorly.
I think Can needs to be the VC when we've sold Milner.
Milner's PK was ok - but saveable for any GK who guessed the right way.
Count me in with Studge starting. He's at least creating chances. Orig does nothing. Wij needs to sit, which means Lallana in the midfield. Thus insert Studge. I also wouldn't mind the diamond we've played a few times with Firmino up top too and Cou in the middle.
Still in control, but barely. Could really due with an Arsenal loss and another ManU loss in the next week.

That was brutal to watch, but ManU sucking made me feel better. Grujic will be fun to watch in the future, I wish he'd have come on earlier.
I assume West Ham is going to play 10 behind the halfway line as well. Part of me wants to drop Can into the holding role and run Grujic alongside Lallana in the midfield. Let Wij take some time on the bench to think about his performances. And start Sturridge, obviously. Origi just doesn't create anything, either with the ball at his feet or with his movement.

I feel like the answer to save the season is Studge. I foresee Klopp forgoing playing both strikers to play firmino, coutinho, and lallana though

I just can't believe Arsenal has crawled back into this top 4 hunt. Someone earlier in this thread said they'll pull an Arsenal - well, pulling an Arsenal is finding yourself knocked out of the title race early, but someone finding your way to a top 4 spot(what, 20 or so years in a row?).
Essentially, have to win. A draw and I'd put Arsenal a favorite over us.
They have Stoke, Sunderland and Everton. Not exactly impossible to take 3 wins from. Plus they have momentum.

like i said, they'll pull an Arsenal.... games they should win, with the wind in their sails, but they will, as history has shown, end up crashing on the rocks like Prestige Worldwide...

20 or whatever straight years of top 4 finishes, including some unlikely late surges into it, pretty much says the exact opposite. They crash out of possibly winning the title. History says they always find a way into the top 4.
But whats this - is chRxis actually more optimistic than me? I better go re-evaluation some things.

For God's sake he just threw in a Prestige Worldwide reference. Anything after that is just Lagniappe.

Well... Leicester did us no favors.
I've got a feeling a lot of rats are going to desert Ship Leicester in this summer break.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnd, of course, that arse Mark Hughes shows again that he doesn't give a shite about playing well against any top 6 team except Liverpool.
In other words, Stoke also (thus far) is doing us no favors against Arsenal.

F*ck Mark Hughes and f*ck Stoke.
Is Hughes parking the bus against Arsenal? 10 men behind the ball? HELL NO. Everything is wide open and welcoming to the Arsenal forwards.

I agree. Anything less than top 4 is nothing short of a tragic result for this season. Tomorrow's game could not be bigger.

God bless you, Peter Crouch. Let your inner-Liverpool continue to shine through!

We may want to change the thread title and not thank the gunners anymore.

Lineup is out (formation unknown).
Migs
Clyne Mario lovren Milner
Can
Wij lallana
Cou
Origi studge
I'm hoping for diamond since studge works so well with a partner up top and neither origi or studge are good outside in a 3 man front.
