From an absolute gem of a game, the only other thing that pissed me off besides Origi's refusal to pass to a wide-open Sturridge was Dejan Lovren doing absolutely nothing to check Ayew on the corner kick where Ayew got two bites at the apple and blew it.
Migs did a good job messing with Ayew's shots, but Lovren just stood there and watched from the corner to the shots on goal. Useless.

I really hope this is the start of Coutinho being played as a #8... I've always thought that was his best position.. a bit of a waste out wide...
Hopefully, we can bring in someone with pace to play out wide... another Mane type.... we've been linked to Lucas Moura... would love him...

Can't disagree with that. Another name I've seen is Bruma from Galatasaray. He's another one with just pure pace that would add another threat.
Speaking of Coutinho as a no. 8, if Firmino's healthy next week, I wouldn't mind seeing him as the no. 10 behind Origi and Sturridge and then Coutinho and Lallana behind him with Can at the 6. We should have a bulk of the possession so that would be an interesting set up IMO.
