I have no idea abt this hire. I honestly think he is more of a businessman than a manager.

I think he can improve the US Soccer brand's structure. It's not in ruins now tho. It's just very very young. I remember what a year ago. . it was the first time MLS clubs were signing players out of their academies to pro contracts.

US Soccer is bigger than one man's ideas.

Excited about the change. No guarantees no matter who we hire.

And If Bob was Skeletor, what are we calling Jurgy?

Yeah, Bayern weren't doing absolutely awful when Jurgen was there but it's the fact that no one would hire him after.

I hope he can give us some tactical discipline defensively.

Jurgy is all about offense.

Intrigued...excited for the future.

It's a bit uninspired...as this was five years in the making. But this change won't happen over night.

I think things will get a tad worse before they get better...so we'll see what the deal is.

Cautiously optimistic...

Yeah, I'm just guessing that a big strong Aryan has Jürgy's German blood pumpin. He'll probably just recruit Brek to fight for the Rhein

I think he had a similar staff at Germany. I wonder if his company, SoccerSolutions, is involved in any way.

As long as we don't decline, I'm not down on it. The team looked a bit sloppy recently. If anything, sharp play would be a huge step up. I feel like good things are coming.

Although some are on the fence about JK, I think this is a tremendously positive step for U.S. Soccer.

Klinsmann may not be the be-all,end-all coach, but at least now we are taking steps to go and bring someone from the outside and make some much needed changes.

Ultimately a hire like this opens up the job for even more qualified hires in the future (like a Joachim Lowe, for example).

Again, JK may not win us a world cup, but it certainly shows that US soccer is ready to start making some serious steps forward.

JMO....

This won't happen until Gulati is gone. His hand was forced in this situation for sure.

He had a positive effect on US soccer, but his time is over, we need new blood at the very top.
