They had already been punished for time wasting with 5 minutes added. The extra time beyond that was absurd.

The Newcastle tactics and subs to finish the match had me scratching my head a bit.
I thought the extra added time was excessive, but oh well.

I wish they would change the rule where instead of being booked for time-wasting, possession is awarded to the other team. So a goalkick would result in a corner, free kicks would be given to the other team, throw-in for throw-in, etc.

Pope was down for a minute and a half. There were other stops for cramps. I didn’t have a huge issue with the time added.
