Málaga still jostling for that last CL spot in Spain. Three points ahead of Levante with 3 to play.

Yep. I think Barca v. Malaga and Chelsea v. Newcastle are definitely the two big ones today. Very much looking forward to them.

Shame PSG-St. Etienne isn't on TV anywhere. Should be a good one. PSG can gain some ground on Montpellier after they drew yesterday against Evian. St. Etienne needs the win for crucial points in their chase for Europe. They would deserve it. Proud history.

what a very funny thing to read ; Levante was in Segunda just two years ago and barely stayed out of the relegation zone last year and Malaga was also very close to relegation the past couple years.

Since Glass doesn't know, does anyone know if there are any soccer shops in the NOLA metro area besides third coast?

Oh, and I almost forgot that Charlie Davies is on the bench right now for Sochaux vs. Ajaccio for the first time I believe since his injury. The game is about half an hour in right now but unfortunately I can't find a stream for it.

Agreed about Levante, what a year they've had. With the new Qatari based ownership group that has taken over at Malaga I'm expecting them to be regulars in the champions league for the foreseeable future.

I have a friend that lives less than a mile down the road that is a Newcastle fan. Needless to say, we aren't going to be watching the match together today.

Terribly officiated match btw
Montpelier scored on an offside and Evian was denied a goal due to an nonexistent offside,. Oh yeah shite got real at the end too and 4 red cards were issued. Montpelier should have lost.

Hopefully Chelsea v Newcastle is a good one. Both clubs have the opportunity to end the others' CL hopes

If I'm not mistaken Evian earned like 4 promotions in 5 years or something ridiculous like that.

I was thinking the exact same. Newcastle drop these points, then to City after that, since Chelsea is already further behind.

Is this because total goals is the third tiebreaker? I see we are well ahead of the Magpies in GD but we are just 1 up on Chelsea.
