Huge match for Southampton.
Agreed.

If Villa get a result against Chelsea, I think it’ll be bigger than the other match. Chelsea can’t score at the moment, and our American wonder has been leading their line during their scoring slump, which isn’t ideal.

He'll only get better with some talent surrounding him. Very interested to see what moves Newcastle makes this winter window bc they are obviously far from safe

Didn't something similar almost happen to City?
Or was it that they luckily got promotion which set the whole project in motion? I can't quite recall.

I think they were promoted around 2001 but were kind of toiling in the lower part of the table until the takeover.
