I'm watching a replay of Dortmund vs Ingolstadt and Julian Weigl seems like a nice young player.

It's a good time to be in Malmo. The football team kicked Celtic's arse in the Champions League, and the hockey team was promoted back to Sweden's top division.

StraightCash, you seem obsessed with Celtic. Perhaps you should find a team worthy of cheering FOR?

Yes, Celtic would benefit from having Rangers back in SPFL to push them and create more revenue. Anyone saying otherwise is blinded by their prejudices. I hate Rangers as much as the next tic, but financial sense doesn't bow to my hatred of a football club.

Lastly--StraightCash, your team is still not in Europe. It still hasnt won a title in the "easy as your mum" Scottish League in 5 years. It's still in the 2nd division. It also crashed out of Europe to Malmo in 2011. Glass Houses, Stones, you know the drill.

why bring Rangers into this you must be bitter

I am not obsessed with Celtic.

You have not dealt with the constant trolling by Bhoy here which has gotten worse since Rangers went down and now his new shtick is shitting on the EPL.

Or his non stop spamming of this board with Celtic shite no one cares about.

That is why this thread has taken its course.

You brought the Deadco and its tribute act into this discussion.

Yes, you are.

If you remember correctly, I was perfectly content to only discuss Celtic in the transfer and match threads two years ago. It was you and cwill that brought Celtic out of these threads. Now, every anti-Celtic post by you and the rest on this board only makes me post more Celtic stuff.

Let's discuss what went wrong for Celtic over the two legs:

Celtic 3 - 2 Malmo

- At 2-0, Johansen fails to convert a one-on-one with the keeper.
- Malmo's first goal: From a Celtic set piece, the ball goes back to the halfway line where Brown tries to head a pass to Izzy. Izzy reacts too slowly and Malmo comes away with the ball. With both Izzy and Boyata out of position, the ball comes to an unmarked Berget in the box who scores a rocket.
- Bitton is kicked in the ankle off the ball and the ref does nothing.
- Forrest is wrongly called for a foul after a Malmo player slips on the pitch. From the ensuing free kick, Lustig twists something and is forced to go off and is replaced by Ambrose.
- In stoppage time, Ambrose stupidly knocks the ball into touch instead of clearing it.
- Malmo's Yuton kicks Johansen off the ball. The ref gives both players a yellow card, but does not award Celtic a free kick as the rules state. This should be the end of the match.
- Malmo makes it 3-2.

Malmo 2 - 0 Celtic

- Griffiths through on goal goes for power instead of trying to chip the keeper.
- Malmo 1 - 0 Celtic: - Four things go wrong here.
1. Slow arse Mulgrew allows a corner to be taken.
2. Gordon does not come out to take the ball
3. Rosenborg 'heads' the ball with his arm. Goal should be disallowed.
4. Janko, playing in only his third competitive match, comes off the post, leaving that part of the net exposed. If he stands still, he blocks it.
- The Thumb (who I didn't want Celtic to sign and still want his contract ripped up) gets in an altercation off the ball. As with the similar altercation at the end of the first match, both players get yellows. Ref gives Malmo a free kick. BT's co-commentator argues that the Malmo player should be sent off for time-wasting and trying to con the ref.
- Brown is intentionally kicked in the head off the ball. No foul given and no card shown.
- Celtic goal disallowed for frick all. Not only does Bitton put the ball in the back of the net, the Malmo defender punched the fricking ball. Should have been a Celtic goal and a Malmo red card or a Celtic penalty and a Malmo red card. SCH's racist arse confuses Bitton with the Thumb.
- Malmo 2 - 0 Celtic: Mulgrew fricks up and Malmo get a corner after two wonder-saves by Gordon. Van Dijk does not jump at the corner and allows Malmo player to get a free header.
- Ref misses his third Malmo handball of the night.

By the way, according to the BBC, Celtic had 66% of the possession, so in no fricking way did Celtic get 'played off the park'.

yes they did get played off the park keeping possession and not doing shite with it.

All they did was hoof it up field or play negative football with back pass after back pass.

8 total shots, 2 on target while Malmo had 18 and 5 on net
