Every year people say "Arsenal should really spend some of that money to have better depth" and every year, they just talk about how much money they have and do jack shite with it.

This match has been entirely predictable for Arsenal:

- first match after a break we are bound to get a key injury. Coquelin is the second most important player to us behind Ozil. Arteta is a massive drop off.

- Ozil to Giroud goal.

- Two poor concessions.

Just shocked at how slow Bellerin looks. Two steps off the pace.

what is the exact ruling on that own goal?

should he have been sent off or is that considered an advantage play?

if you commit a foul and advantage is played they can still come back to card you.

he should be off imo but i'm open to changing my mind with the right evidence.

That went from sugar to shite in a hurry.

The way that half fell, our dropoff was a direct result of losing Coq.

We needed a holding mid in the worst way.

Sent off for an incidental handball? Would be more than a bit harsh.

i don't know if that's considered a legit goal scoring opportunity or not.

i'm starting to lean towards not. i think the clear goal scoring opportunity should only be when someone is clear in on goal.
