I like Zirkzee as a player, and he is a very good forward, but he is not a Striker.

1st half was probably our best half of EPL football all season. We seemed to forget having any link-up play involving the wingers in the 2nd, but it wasn't a terrible half.

I realize all that. My comment was more around the tactics. By dropping into the same space that Bruno or KM are also occupying it invites an overload in the midfield.
By not stretching vertically thru the middle we rely entirely on our wing play immediately after transition to provide progression.
