I think Chelsea have an obligation to buy of some sort, don't they?

Yeah they do as long as they finish higher than 14th in the league if I'm not mistaken, which is definitely happening.

Sancho and Chelsea can kick rocks.

Report just came out without the inject of cash from INEOS of £240 million this year. The club would have gone broke.

No wonder all these cuts have been happening. The club despite how it good or bad it had been ran was being sucked dry by the Glazers and it finally caught up to the club as no matter how bad the books were getting they would get their payments first.

quote:

This difficult financial position is the reason why the Glazers, the majority owners, announced a strategic review in November 2022. A club statement at the time said: “As part of this process, the board will consider all strategic alternatives, including new investment into the club, a sale, or other transactions involving the company.” This led to Ratcliffe’s purchase of a share in United and he has driven a series of measures to bring down costs. Last summer and autumn he made about 250 employees redundant and he is driving the plan for this round of about 200 job losses. Ratcliffe, the founder and chairman of the petrochemicals firm Ineos, understands his decisions are unpopular but feels there is a lack of awareness outside the club regarding the full picture of United’s situation. The balance sheet is severely stressed because of what some United insiders regard as years of poor financial management but Ratcliffe is optimistic that if these painful measures are taken, United will be in secure financial health in about two years.

Seriously, Joel and Avram need to frick off and agree to a full sale and takeover. They don't belong anywhere near United and the pressure on them RIGHT NOW needs to be more feverish than ever.

This makes me irrationally pissed off.

Amad with an ankle injury at training. Set to miss the rest of the season. Gonna be a rough limp to the finish line.

And we just sent out 2 wingers and brought in zero. This club is a dumpster fire on wheels.

We just don’t have any quality in the side. I don’t think any of our front three get meaningful playing time in the prem that we had out there. (Maybe Garnacho on a hot streak) Can’t complete simple passes, not following up shots, it’s clear as day the majority of our players just aren’t good enough to play at this level. Ready for the season to be over, which is sad.

The club has now paid over £1 Billion in interest payments

INEOS saved the club, no wonder the Glazers needed someone to buy into the club and wouldn’t sell out right to Qatar. They still want that free money.

The government should step in and strip the club from their control.

If they truly cannot keep the club solvent, they need to sell. What they have done to United is egregious and literally unprecendented.

Also, if the league feels like they can't completely gut City over their FFP breaches because of the damage it would do to the league, forced exorcism of the Glazer demons should be a slam dunk. United is the biggest brand and letting us wither on the vine is bad business too.

I truly don't understand what the point of INEOS investing in the club? They got to look over all of the financial statements and books prior to purchasing 25% and now they are shocked when they can't afford it. Has to be one of the biggest screw ups and absolute shams in prem history.

2-0 down to Everton at half. Of course we give up a corner goal and then maguire/Onana disaster class for the 2nd. We are so hilariously bad at this point, Amorim might want to resign before he ruins his entire coaching reputation

Edit: well shite we’ve scored 2 goals in 8 minutes to tie it up 2-2 in the 81’

Add Onana to the list of guys who can kick rocks for me.

I was on board with him, but I don’t think his strengths are emphasized or used properly in a 3 back system.

He’s indecisive and doesn’t command his box well. He has been and will continue to be made to pay for mistakes of that ilk.

I've never been negative about Garnacho, but ffs when will he figure out how to strike a ball?
