Manchester United are understood to have had sponsorship discussions with online dating service Tinder.
The Silicon Valley company are said to be interested in becoming United's sleeve sponsor - a new commercial opportunity for Premier League clubs from the upcoming season.
Nine clubs, including United's big six rivals Chelsea and Manchester City, have signed sleeve deals but none for any amount near the £12million a year that Tinder are said to be offering.

A number of clubs will have them for next season.
City, Chelsea, Palace, Swansea to name a few.

frick, City had 2 different sleeve sponsors and a sponsor on the back of their jerseys underneath the numerals in addition to their primary sponsor on the chest for their US matches.

shite tinder might be bigger in the UK than in the states now. Especially since Bumble came out.

I thought Nexen was a bad sponsor to have, but good God, if City had Tinder I think this board may have exploded.

Surprised Gordon McKernan isn't jumping on this opportunity. Seems like he's on every damn billboard in the state of Louisiana.

12 million. Meanwhile, United are probably lining up an 80 million dollar bid for God knows who.

12 million.
I may have completely misread, but I believe that the rule regarding the sleeve sponsorship money can only equal 1/4 of the main shirt sponsor deal. I could see them having to limit the amount.

Seems like a weird rule. If a company wants to pay more for less, why should UEFA or any other governing body stop them?
