Starting XI: Romero, Darmian, Smalling, Blind, Shaw, Carrick, Schneiderlin, Mata, Memphis, Januzaj, Rooney.

I would have rather seen Herrera in and not Januzaj.... I think we need to play mata centrally and DEPAY and young/Valencia on the wings but oh well!! Let's go United!!! Road to the finals starts today

Today's Memphis is what we were all hoping for. Absolutely brilliant.

ETA: He needs to work on his whip.

So between Memphis and Mata who would be a better pickup in EPL fantasy?

Memphis looked great today. That Fellaini goal last second as well

Schweiny is so cool on the ball which we really needed. Carrick had his worst game in a United shirt and not just b/c of the own goal. He was struggling, but he did get that assist because of some Memphis brilliance. Not worried about him though, he'll bounce back.

Memphis

Mike Smalling

Mata - kind disappeared especially in the 2nd half

Chicharito sighting

That flick from Rooney

85 mil euro bid for Muller?

There's no chance imo.

For someone with as much swag as Memphis, I expected more from his whip.

This is what SCH posted in the transfer thread.

@GuillemBalague More on Pedro. United doesn't want to pay what FCB want... because Van Gaal decided, despite contact with player, that he was now not needed

With the exception of the De Gea nonsense, does everybody think we are done this window?

Ed will tie up the Muller transfer, then we're done

I think I'd rather Muller over Pedro at this point..esp with Schweinsteiger on board...I think they'll link up immediately. I dunno...can't ever believe anything until they're standing at the podium holding up a jersey

As for de Gea, I think he stays but gone next year...

Do y'all agree with LvG that Romero is better than a distracted De Gea? And that Romero is better than Valdes and Lindegaard? Romero just looks so bad out there.

He looks shaky with the ball at his feet, but he hasn't allowed a goal to the other team in three straight matches now. He's fine.
