Altidore was never anything but a specimen.
Whenever he would play on the international stage you could quickly see that he lacked world class skill or creativity.
Hopefully he’ll have a couple boys with Stephens and they’ll play soccer and inherit her finishing ability.

Very few players are world class, and sadly even fewer are American. Altidore still has a very solid goal scoring record internationally and is our third leading scorer of all time. Let that sink in.
