I believe the Louisiana state championships start tonight. Anyone have a link for score updates or will to provide updates on the games if you happen to be there?

FYIW I like Pope John Paul tonight.

I believe they are all being played in Hammond, but spread out over the next few days...I think one boys and one girls each day through the weekend.

No. She is too short for college. But, she is a nice little athlete. Played volleyball as well.

Awesome. Congrats to you and your family. It must have been a hell of a nerve racking experience to go through for a keeper and to an extent her family.

My son plays keeper...or did. It is his favorite position, but his new coach doesn’t rotate keepers and wants him on the field. He handles it well for a 10 year old though. I’m going to try to find him a summer league that will let him get some time in the box. Not always the most enjoyable position to watch as a parent, but I want him to do what he loves.

Thanks for posting.

I really don’t know much about the teams playing tonight, so I’m going to take a shot in the dark and say both dogs win, Lab and White (although if I had to I would probably put money on Lusher).

Doesn't rotate keepers at 10 years old? That's dumb.

10 is a great age for soccer. Goalies have a crazy disadvantage at that age, big goal...small kids.

U11 was really when things got cranked up for my son, played so many tournaments between then and the end of U13.

Get him in a club. Year ‘round soccer is great for their development. PITA for parents, but it’s worth it.

It’s crazy that DII is probably the worst division in the state.

It was pretty much always the worst especially when there was only three divisions

Holy Cross titles shouldn’t really count until they go back to DI

Why did they go to four divisions? I liked when it was just three
