Eriksen

I think BR viewed Coutinho as our #10 of the future and was looking to buy a LW in attack... We aren't in a position to buy luxury players when we have other needs to fill...

I really like Eriksen and wanted him here for some time, but after the signing Cou and his move to the center at the end of last year... it was becoming evident he wasn't in BRs plan..

That said, Ive been reading that we are being linked to Pastore in January...

I hope we're not linked to anyone for January yet. I'm sure Chelsea, Tottenham et al are just sitting around letting us do the scouting work.

If we haven't learned by now to not show any of our cards until its nearly complete, then God help us.

Thanks for the toughts on Coutinho - that definitely sounds reasonable to me.

Well, luckily for us, those two teams are stocked with #10s... so is almost every other big team, I believe that is why Eriksen lasted so long on the market...

Word is Pastore is available on the cheap (relatively) and may need a jump start to his career... that exact player model worked out well for us last January..

C'mon you reds! If you don't come away with 3 points against possibly the worst team in the league, this weekend will be fricking miserable

Welcome back Luis! And I love Sturridge's "selfish" play... keep it up!

Toure played well and Sakho seems to be settling in...

Lucas is out next week...

I can wait for Coutinho and Johnson to get healthy... Cissokho and Allen, too.. options are a good thing!

Cou is greatly missed in the middle!

Agreed. Moses did better in the second half sticking to the middle a little more and slowing the game down, but in the first half, he was drifting all over the place, provided no connection between the midfield and forwards and just put his head down and ran at people without looking to make passes. Not what we needed from him today in that formation.

We looked a lot more fluent in the second half and were getting a little more creative. Suarez just helps create so much more space for everyone, but we missed that creative spark today.

Sturridge, Suarez and Cou will definitely be something to drool over once they all get on the field together.

The tv rights to the three of them playing together need to be picked up by a porn company.
