Yea he deleted it. Might have just been a misunderstanding. But if not, LOL. He needs to learn his role and that attitude won't get him anywhere. He had a good preseason but he is nowhere near EPL ready. The most I see from him is a Championship loan deal for 2 years or so. No way he will make the senior team at LFC before he is 20 unless there is an emergency. Gerrard, Lucas, Adam, Spearing, Shelvey, Henderson, Aquilani (pending sale) and probably Allen (pending purchase) are all ahead of him whether he likes it or not. He will get his shot, but he has to be patient like all other youth players. I'd like to see the percentage of EPL players that are 18 years old.

Agreed. Playing well in u19 does not equal playing well week in/week out in epl

Like I said, the kid obviously has tremendous talent. I've raved about him the past several months. But he needs to know his role. When he's ready, he will play.

I knew the day would eventually come when I would have to defend my articles against some inbred LFC fan (and there surely are a bunch). But damn, I didn't think I would have to defend the impact a good defense has on a team.

So why do 'Pool hate Aquilani? I thought he would fit into the short passing game of Rodgers better than any of their current midfielders. Now he's off to Fiorentina?

Yeah, that's mmy favorite Aqualani highlight, too. Cool video, by the way.
I've always thought there were bigger reasons for Aqua's departure. This is the third straight season/manager where it seems like he wants back to Italy. To me, he's only behind Gerrard and Lucas in our midfield... The three would be a very nice midfield for us in Rodgers scheme...
Oh well, that's why I tried not to get my hopes up on him.

There are a bunch of conflicting reports coming out now, on whether he has been sold yet...
Agent claiming he doubts Fiorentina could afford £7. Others are saying Vargas could be involved in the deal, coming our way.

Apparently, NUFC are going to come with a bid of £18 for Andy. They fear someone triggering Ba's release clause...
Also, supposedly City has made a £13 bid for Agger. frick that!

I think Vargas is a quality player. Yea I hate Man City too. They are always after of our players too.

The whole thing seems odd to me. It was the same story with Roy, and Kenny. In my opinion, once Rafa was gone I feel he wanted nothing to do with 'Pool. I realize this is contrary to what some reports would indicate. But either way, I wish him the best, and hope he gets regular playing time.

I think Agger has stated he wouldn't play for another English club... I dont think he really wants to leave.
I'd rather him go to Barca, if we have to sell him. Agger and Pique would be a nice pairing...

--Dempsey didn't travel with Fulham for their tour of switzerland.
--BBC is reporting an agreement for Carroll with a 2M loan to west ham, and 17M buyout if they stay in premiership
--this is anfield saying that the aqua deal is done and he should be announced soon
