Does anyone know if Gerrard and the other 1st team players that participated in the Euros will play in Baltimore?

I'm not sure, but they were expected to arrive today. Boston may be slim, but I hope they're ready for a few minutes against the scurge of North London in Baltimore...

You would think that if they fly all the way over here, they will see at least some playing time

They should see a couple minutes. I wouldn't expect Gerrard to see significant minutes till Tottenham. But wouldn't be surprised if Carroll, Henderson, Kelly and Downing each got close to 30 minutes or so.

It's actually been kind of quiet lately in regards to the transfer rumors. It seems all the silliness has died down now that there is some actual football being played.

Honestly I don't know what to think. He's young and he seems to be exactly the type of guy Rodgers wants. But is £15M too much for this guy?

If twitter is to be believed, Goal.com is reporting Liverpool and Swansea have agreed to a £13.5M fee for Allen.
Also hearing that AVB is looking to scoop him up as well. I don't even know what all I think about Allen, but if AVB were to steal him like they stole Gylfi I will probably kill myself.

Allen is very good. I posted a compilation of him earlier in the thread. I don't like him at that price, but he would be a great addition to the squad. A midfield of Lucas, Allen Gerrard would not lose possession.
I do think we need a winger more though. There is so much cover at midfield that Allen coming in would likely mean Shelvey on loan and Adam and Cole out.
