I just want the Carroll drama to be resolved. Part of me believes he will be gone. Only because BR hasn't come out yet to say he wants him in the squad. If he truly did, I believe he would have said it by now. There's just been too much speculation

I have the worst jersey luck.
Bought a Torres - FML
Bought a Cole - Went on loan almost immediately
Bought a Suarez - Racist bucktooth (lol)
Got a Carroll for a gift - On his way out it seems
Who do I get next? I want a sure fire bet. Maybe a Gerrard? His kit is timeless. Lucas? What are the chances he never regains form?
I could go really young..Sterling, Suso, Kelly, Henderson all should be around a while.
Or what about a Borini? Or Dempsey? What if they bust?

With the new shirt, I went Gerrard. Safest bet and he's a fricking legend. I wanted to go Agger or Skrtel but I went safe.
If Dempsey is signed, I may have to get his on the 3rd kit. still not sure about it though(the affliction sleeves)

I'll probably get multiple of the home shirts. Who knows what Warrior will do with next years...
Looks like I'll get a Stevie and probably Dempsey.

Also...NESN (owned by FSG) is reporting Dempsey has joined the club and a deal should be finalized by the end of the week.

I was hoping to see some cover brought in for him, because I would think he needs to be brought along slowly...
I just dont think spearing is up to it... Who knows, maybe the boss thinks Henderson can be groomed for that role..

Apparently the team is going to take in a Sox game at Fenway tonight... Carra is suppose to throw out the first pitch tonight at Fenway...

Couldn't agree more on Spearing. Henderson could possibly fill that role although I think he personally fancies himself in the CAM role. He never looks confident to me with the ball at his feet in front of goal. My favorite example is his goal against Bolton at the start of the year. Sure he scored but there and throughout the rest of year it just didn't seem to fit him. I do think with his physical and technical attributes that he could be a really good holding midfielder. It may be a stretch but he's still young and I think the sky is the limit in that position for him.
There is always the option of throwing the human bulldozer Charlie Adam out there for cover. If anything we know we'll have a PK specialist on the pitch.
Jonjo on the other hand gives you the feeling of a CAM. He just looks like the wants to have the ball and be shooting it. Could be a great opportunity for him to get more playing time by covering for Lucas. There is no better way of learning than by being in the action.

yeah, I dont think Chuck would have the discipline to not go bombing forward and getting his shot off...
Lucas was an attacking mid at Gremio, so it may work out for Henderson in that role (kinda Scott Parkerish)
