Among those on the plane were Samed Yesil, Suso, Conor Coady, Andre Wisdom, Adam Morgan, Peter Gulacsi and Dani Pacheco.

Wow! Very interesting. That's only 16 players though so I wonder who the other 4 will be. Looking forward to this one, but wouldn't be surprised with a draw or even a loss.

Nice article. Hopefully we can see some results from his extra work.

Just a random question, when you did you guys become a liverpool supporter? Was it a certain game you watched? A certain player on the team?

The moment I became a Liverpool fan was during their CL run on their way to winning the 2005 trophy. It was in the final when I got chills down my back and was so happy.

Flanagan, Robinson, Cole (is he fit?) & Wilson would be my guesses.

Hey hey now, don't sweat it. I do recall AC Milan getting revenge in 2007. Although liverpool's win in 2005 was much more dramatic and entertaining.

Here's to returning to those champion ways hopefully in the next year or two. I have faith.

First time I watched soccer was WC98. Michael Owen was my favorite player of the tournament. When I played FIFA with my friends, I found out he played for Liverpool. Hence, I am a Liverpool fan.

I had followed them for awhile as a casual fan before, but I started really becoming a supporter with the 2001 treble run.

Prior to 2002, my interest in international soccer extended exactly as far as the US advanced in the World Cup. In college (01-02 was my freshman year at LSU) I became friends with a lot of guys who watched and played. So that summer the lot of us would stay up late and we watched almost every single WC match.

One of my more amiable friends kept going and on about this Michael Owen guy, and how he was the best striker in the world, and he played for England. So I paid them a lot of attention. Elsewhere Senegal was putting on an entertaining show as well, and shocked the world when they defeated France 1-0 in the opening match. They had this guy El-Hadji Diouf, who I thought played spectacularly. This was, of course, before I knew he was a piece of trash.

Then FIFA 03 came out that Fall semester, and Liverpool had Owen and Diouf. And that was that. I was a Liverpool supporter.

ETA: I'm sorry, I thought you were referring to tomorrow's match. Well as for Being Liverpool I know they are playing it all week on FSC, just check the listings. If you want to watch on the computer I think someone posted it to YouTube. Other than that, yeah, torrent.

Season: 2000-01.
Game: Liverpool vs Arsenal
Competition: English Premier League
Venue: Anfield
Result: 4 - 0
First EPL game I ever watched on TV. We played in the red kit and thrashed the gooners at Anfield. The kop was going berserk. I remember Owen, Gerrard, Fowler and scored. All three became my heroes. I started following Liverpool. I think the next year we got the treble. When I got a little older and got to high school I started reading more about the history of the club, Heysel, Hillborough, Shankly, Paisley etc. The more I found out about this incredible institution the more enamored I got.

That in very short is how I became a Liverpool fan.

FIFA 06 and 07 manager mode . Decided before last season that I was going to follow the EPL and needed a team. Watched a bunch of LFC videos on youtube, and fell in love. Even more emotionally invested after the roller-coaster of last season, and visiting Anfield over the summer. Right now I'd probably put my sports investments at

1)LSU - football
2)LFC

3)USA Men's Soccer

4)Saints

5)Hornets

6)LSU baseball

7)Other LSU things
