Yep.
Maybe this finally forces us to play Carroll until Luis gets back. This will do one of two things:
1. Allow him to find form
2. Prove that he is worthless and needs to go
Also, we get to see how this team performs without its heart and soul.

I'm getting motherfricking sick of Enrique and his antics going forward. He showed so much promise at first, but now seems to just lose possession more than create chances of any kind.
It is nice having stability at LB and his defending has been virtually impeccable.

This team is reverting back to Roy ball. No heart, no passion, no drive. It's fricking sickening to watch. They all look lazy and nonchalant.

It's obvious this squad isn't top 4 quality.
They are supremely disappointing.
Why even throw Carroll in there for 5 minutes? I mean seriously?
Suarez played like dog shite the whole game, why not sub him out in the 65th or 70th?

This was disappointing... Wigan pretty much parked the bus against us...
Unfortunate Adam didnt convert the PK... we absolutely have been shite from the spot this year...
the day was looking bad but the UPS guy just dropped off a Portillo's care package...

Just finished watching...Jesus I thought the first half was tough to watch. The last couple minutes were fricking brutal.

Yes, it's bad. Adam continues to cost us points. Downing can't get forward. Sandy Carol is basically worthless. Lots of money spent for bad results.

I agree, and I really like Adam but its just frustrating to watch with the pk and OG.
Carroll looked like a special ed kid out there...aside from like the last 15 or 20 where he actually had a couple good chances. I really don't think he won a single ball up until then.
And just overall horrible passing by everyone. What a shite result.

I have begun to hate Adam so so much. I truly think he's a glory hog judging by how often he pisses away possession with some aborted hollywood pass, and his pie in the sky shots off the rafters.
That and taking the pen over Suarez with all that shite going on last week.
Gerrard's time today did excite me at least because he was bombing around and played some really good passes. That's what a world class mid looks like, not Adam. Still hate Downing as a player.
Also, Suarez, just isn't good enough to play on his own up front. Such a great player in every way but when it's time to shoot, he gets wonky. We have to get a class goalscorer in to play alongside of him and PRAY that Gerrard is good to go the rest of the way.

Yesterday was terrible... I thought Andy played pretty good, though...

I'd be shocked if he was sold unless the people in charge realize that the style they want will never properly utilize him. Which would make some sense.
He doesn't fit at all there right now, but with a few inches going his way this season, he would be an absolute Kop hero at this point.
He's had at least 3 (that I can remember) winners saved miraculously in ET. Those go in, and people would be blue in the face screaming his name. Crazy to think about really.

If the queen had balls, she'd be king. I hear what you're saying and obviously the perception of him would be different if he was so clutch. But as it stands, he plays like shite for 90 minutes and then flashes moments of almost-brilliance which only compound my frustration. I just don't understand why he can't get those chances consistently throughout the match.
