Cant forget to talk about our back four and Pepe...
Skrtel & Agger have been fantastic and we have the best pair of fullbacks in the league...
13 Goals conceded and 6 clean sheets ...

Yep. Best backline in the PL. The addition of Enrique has been massive for the club.
13 goals allowed in 16 games, with 4 coming in one match against Spurs.
Second half of the season we need to start converting those draws into wins. We need to win at least 12 matches in the second half to earn CL.

what the hell was this by the way? I have never seen a Liverpool team just up and dragged for a beating like that.
And we haven't seen another performance even close to that mess the rest of the season. What a weird one.

We were down to 9 men by midway through the second half. Not that we weren't taking a beating before the sending offs, but the score was only 1-0 before we went down a man.

We also got 2 players sent off that match (Adam & Skrtel)...
Carragher may have seen his first team days die with that injury... There is no better CB pairing in the EPL right now than Martin and Daniel...

Yea and Coates had to come on for Agger early in the first half.

And Andy Carroll played the whole match...JS.
eta: saw this on RAWK in a thread about Suarez and the FA an it made me chuckle...a decision could come as early as today btw.

Confirmation that we signed Jordan Ibe today (16 yrs old.)... One thing is for sure, LFC is sure investing heavily in youth since LFC took over. Should bode well for the long term future of the club...

Slow day at work, so...
Here is some LFC transfer info. from Jen Chang of SI (pretty knowledgeable):
Ok, so in terms of who I've been told LFC have been watching: Twente duo of Luuk de Jong (striker) and Leroy Fer (M). Wingers: Scott Sinclair, Junior Hoilett and Antoine Griezmann. DM: Armin Bacinovic. Strikers: Alvaro Negredo, Ricky Van Wolfswinkel. AM: Yacine Brahimi
I'm also told they (along with many many many other teams) are keen on Ajax's Christian Eriksen, but from what I've been told Eriksen is very unlikely to move anywhere in the near future and also not very keen on a Premier League move (prefers Spain).
Forgot to add the winger pair of Sochaux's Ryad Boudebouz (discussed below on November 15 post, and Bologna's Gaston Ramirez (discussed on October 10) - believe LFC have watched both extensively too.
I haven't heard anything about Shaqiri lately, (but he was on Roy Hodgson's target list for sure entering the Jan 2011 window). Having said that, just because I haven't heard anything doesn't mean he's no longer a target or being watched even.
Every team in the world wants Hazard. Not much point talking about Hazard unless LFC gets a Champions League spot and even then it's unlikely in my opinion. Zidane's pushing for him at Real and right now Spain looks to be his likely destination next summer.
Believe De Jong is definitely available in January, and LFC have been watching him recently so if LFC do move for a striker (and again there's no guarantee they will) - I'd say there's a good chance it could be him. He's good and his price tag of around 10-12M euros represents good value.
