I thought he looked quite lively. He went out and got some balls instead of waiting for people to heap them on him through the air, and then throw his hands in the air when nothing came of it.

I think the best thing we did was not throw ball after ball up for Carroll to grab. We were more selective and it paid off. They looked good out there and deserved more than 2.

Yeah he's not going anywhere near Anfield.
I say Bayern will go after him for sure with Real, Chelsea, and others to go him

Looks like you're going to be following Blackpool for the season. hahaha Seriously though, I'm excited about this kid's future and it's better for him to be seeing the pitch on a regular basis.

Totally agree. I was actually hoping he would get loaned to a lower EPL team, but this should be good for his progression. Glad he is getting some playing time.

Championship is better for him imo. It insures regular play. It could still be hit or miss at a Blackburn or an Arsenal.

Got any scoop from Comolli's visit?

Who is waking up and drinking for the Liverpool game in preparation for early kickoff against Kentucky?

I never miss it...I'll be out at Finn's drinking for the Merseyside Derby at 6:30 am CST (ESPN2 for those wondering). Then I'll just stay and booze on through the City and United matches and finally catch a buzz right around 11, just in time for the LSU game. I can't wait for Sat.

I'd like to let you all know I am utterly enthused for tomorrow...although Following a work day where I do not get home until after 11, 6:45 is a tall order for your boy.

I am pretty excited.

Yea, I just got an email from Sal. I hate when they do that; now I basically have to turn my phone off, stay away from TD and not watch tv all morning. Plus, that means the bar is gonna be packed with City and United fans while I try to watch one of the biggest matches of the season.
