The official Premier League squads have been set. Here is Liverpool's:
Jones, Johnson, Enrique, Agger, Aurelio, Suarez, Gerrard, Carroll, Rodriguez, Kuyt, Downing, Spearing, Carragher, Reina, Adam, Doni, Skrtel, Lucas, Bellamy.
This list does not include U21s since they do not have to be registered.
If you ask me, this is the strongest squad from top to bottom Liverpool has put out it quite some time. YNWA

Yes. He is the captain. He is a leader on and off the field. People amaze me when they doubt Stevie G. He will definitely give major contributions to this team

I don't doubt him, I just think with the 6 other comparable mids they have, they haven't hurt much without him

Him being at 100% he's an asset, but less than that, I'd prefer what we've got going.
I also hope that when he returns he doesn't try to be Super Gerrard like he does sometimes. When he gets in those modes, we lose our offensive cohesion because everyone seems to defer to him.
But if he's at full strength, I can't wait to see him back in there.
