Curtis Jones scored a hell of a goal yesterday on his England debut in Athens. He's getting more confident every time he takes the pitch. Tsimikas played well before being subbed off late in the second half. He forced an incredible save out of Pickford who kept a clean sheet. CuJo really is turning into a special player. He might be stealing Szobo’s spot in our best starting 11. I’d like to see Szobo get some time on the right wing whenever Mo isn’t playing…isn’t that where he excels with Hungary?
I feel bad for Harvey. Terrible time to get injured with a new manager. He’s gonna have to really capitalize on his minutes he gets to earn more playing time. I’d hate for him to leave the club to go somewhere he can start
Our midfield and attacking depth is pretty solid. If we could get another cb (although I do still love Gomez) we’d be pretty solid on the depth chart
On an unrelated note, I can’t believe it’s mid November and we have basically heard nothing about extending any of the big 3. I was positive that as soon as the summer transfer window ended that we’d be focused on that and hear some news
As each day passes I’m starting to prepare myself more and more for Trent going to Madrid

He usually plays as the #10 or as one of two #10s (left) when they've moved to a back 3...

I’d be remiss if I only gave credit to Jones and Sam this Int’l break. Kelleher made a PK save in the 77th minute to see out a 1-0 victory for Ireland on his way to MOTM honors. Unfortunately England embarrassed them 5 to nil a few days later. The Dutch players were good in a route of Szobo and Hungary. Gakpo scored a PK and was the best player on the pitch for stretches. VVD flew back to Liverpool and isn’t traveling to Bosnia. Sounds precautionary as they’ve already clinched 2nd place and can’t catch Germany in their group. Konate was handed the captain’s armband in Mbappe’s absence yesterday against Italy.

Very weird sequence of events leading up to that goal. Had the ball within 25 of goal for what seemed like 5+ mins and the GK just rolled the ball out.
