Gravenberch giving me shades of Gini and I’m all in. I know we’re only through 10 minutes but he looks great.

I really like Gravenberch. I CANNOT wait though until we have a real 6 and can play Mac and Szobo up front together. They were absolutely made to play together.

I agree on Gravenberch. He was good. I gotta give credit to Mac as well. It’s been a rough start to his Liverpool career but he made some incredible long passes today. We have been playing the guy completely out of position since he arrived so Klopp’s given him a long leash and maybe he’s starting to settle in. Mo’s brace gives him 105 goals at Anfield which is 6th all time. He moved above Dalglish and Gerard. He’ll pass Fowler and move into the top 5 by season’s end. Really loved seeing Nunez be unselfish on the second.

I really like Gravenberch and hope he gets a nice run of games, since it looks like Mac is destined for the deeper role in the midfield.. at least until January..
Nunez is just getting better and better.. especially his decision making and his understanding with Mo..
Ibou was lucky to stay on, even though there wasn't much in the foul... thats definitely been given before...
All in all, I thought we were clearly the better side even though not at our best on no rest... Thankfully, we get to do it all over again after the next break with City.. yay!

Need to come out loose and just play their game, not too loose obviously.

Gomez totally out of place and “Captain” TAA plays the Toulouse striker onside for a Toulouse break-away goal.
Crap all-around by the “veterans” on the pitch.

I’m ready to get a TAA replacement in the back and move him to the middle. The lack of defending is killing his overall usefulness.

Endo with the Header! opens his Liverpool account 30' 2-1 Reds
Posted on 10/26/23 at 2:33 pm to parrothead
And THAT’S what TAA is good at.
Brilliant header by Endo.

Darwin Nunez! 3-1 Reds 34'

Short Liverpool career so far but, gawd almighty, Gravenberch might end up being an absolute steal.
That drive forward to create the Darwin goal was a thing of beauty.

No shite I could have put that in the goal

Give TAA *tons* of credit there to prevent Kellehers mistake from turning into disaster.
Posted on 10/26/23 at 3:17 pm to beatbammer
Toulouse guy had the entire goal to pass it into. Shoots directly at AA nuts
Posted on 10/26/23 at 3:20 pm to beatbammer
I think its been proven at this point that Gomez is a MUCH better right-back than he is a center-back.
Edit: Will this ref ever call a foul on Toulouse?
