I must have missed the positives from Eddie Johnson.

I saw indecisive, working away from goal Eddie Johnson

I think you misinterpreted me, I meant GAM looked a little out of place, he got the ball several times in 1v1 situations and couldn't make a man miss, he was getting a ton of service but just couldn't be the go to guy last night, I agree, he looked indecisive. need to get him in the lineup with Dempsey and Bradley and Co. so he can play off them. sorry for the rambling

Mother fricking THIS.
It's the same old Eddie Johnson I've been seeing for the last ten freaking years. What so many see in this guy I must be missing. Just because he called himself a "grown-arse man" one time in an interview doesn't make him a better footballer.

He can run like I don't know what, and even do so with the ball, so long as there's space. When it's time to play football ,and not just run? He's hot garbage. I'm so tired of this guy, we KNOW he can't do it.

Same for Wondolowski. He's been fairly regular for three years, now. Enough. He scores buckets full of goals in league play, it ain't happening in the Red, White and Blue. Enough.

I, too, am positive about Gatt.

Positive: At least they don't suck as bad as Chelsea.

Both GAM and Wondo get good service in the box from their midfielders in MLS.

GAM finally has a niche role in Seattle as a classic #9 who works hard and relies on good service from the flanks.

Wondo relies heavily on knockdowns and holdup play from Steven Lenhart and Alan Gordon, and decent service from his average midfield.

Both of those things were lacking last night. Perpetual problem under Klinsmann; we either get a ton of possession with little incisiveness from the wings or we just hoof the ball into the box inaccurately. This is why even a half-motivated Landon Donovan is still so integral to the national team setup.

Positives:

Beltran and Morrow were serviceable for fullbacks; probably not international quality, but decent for the occasion. Brad Evans might be able to play rightback for Seattle next year. Good for them.

Omar and Besler will be on future rosters against teams that actually attempt to attack.

Gatt and Bedoya actually provided real width when they came on.
