It’s nice they’re spending time to go out of their way to get the message out that they never bid for Buendia. Who cares?

I completely agree. Overspend and take the deducted points. So far those punishments have been negligible. Show some bollocks FFS. Also, why do we have two people in our recruitment department whereas other clubs have 5-6? Makes no sense especially when those two are also relatively inexperienced. This whole situation really boils my piss.

Apparently we're trying to sign Wilson on a permanent after our loan approach was rejected. Of course, we'll end up overpaying for a player who is not a difference maker up top by any stretch of the imagination.

It’s strange other clubs in and around us (including other promoted teams) have been able to make moves more so than we have. Is it inexperience just being outworked whatever the case it is insanely frustrating to watch

Like a slow motion car wreck that we are powerless to stop

For the love of god I’m gonna be irate when someone from the board said we tried but it’s difficult

So that’s what I don’t understand - how is it that Sunderland seemingly has more $$ than we do plus are able to get guys across the line?

I’m guessing getting guys across the line is a result of there front office just being better, but what about the $$ situation? I don’t fully understand PSR, so I’m sure it has something to do with that.

Same for me but I think it is because they took less losses while in the championship (over that three year period) so they have more headroom going into the year

Plus they had some decent player sells to make more room

We haven’t been able to shift anyone which I assume has hampered us

Obviously not the best window, but imagine how bad our window would have gone if we hadn’t started in January and Paraag didn’t do deals in his sleep

Positive from all of this: we have no PSR concerns.

I haven’t been this mad since the news broke that LSU was going to hire Ed Orgeron.

At least now I don’t have to be on edge to see if we stay up

Our attack is so toothless currently might as well just slip into my relegation sweat pants

So… can we bring Largie back from his loan? Wonder how much it’d take for Lord Bamford to come back as well.

I keep refreshing twitter thinking surely there is a mistake and we’re signing (or loaning) someone, anyone.

I think my Leeds disappointment syndrome is kicking in and I really just don’t care.

At least they didn’t unnecessarily ship anyone else out.
