I dont understand why they didn’t at least wait until deadline day to loan Largie. Makes no sense.

It feels like the Dan James fiasco all over again

We couldn’t even move tIceman on

That’s honestly pretty funny. Are his wages really high and he’s like “yeah, I’m good” haha. Rather stay and make the $$ vs. leave + play but on a lesser wage.

If you hadn’t been so damn nice when I was getting into this years back and watched that stupid documentary I wouldn’t be as annoyed today as I am
Leeds felt like an SEC English football team to me and damnit if I didn’t pick the one who wasn’t paying off the referees again

May as well. Will give us more MF depth and a nice fallback when we inevitably go right back down.

The national meetup will be interesting in a couple of weeks. Expecting y’all to ask some hard hitting questions!
Edit - the fact that we’re playing Fulham is

The club account finally breaks silence, comments as expected:

Phil Hay watching all this unfold probably having one of those “ahhh thank frick i came to my senses” moments.

Boy the response to that tweet are ummmmmm people seem upset I suppose
Also, given we focused on defending and midfield for this team who would be a good fit for playing a style to keep us up once Farke is sacked?
I don’t think we have the required skill to cut people open so most of our points are going to come from clean sheets and grind it out wins

Obvious answer is Dyche isn’t it

quote:
Sean Dyche's playing style, often nicknamed "Dycheball," is characterized by defensive organization, a direct approach with long passes and crosses, and a strong emphasis on set-pieces and physical battles. His teams are known for being demanding, fitter, and more combative, aiming to frustrate opponents by forcing them to play longer balls and making the game uncomfortable. The strategy often involves giving up possession and relying on vertical counter-attacks, utilizing aerial threats from set pieces and two strikers in the box to create chances in dangerous areas.

Looks like Brownhill is going to saudi. Warra window lads.

So Leeds put out Robbie Evans to address the media after close of the window.
You can find everything online but essentially the club say we spent all we could for PSR.
If Muniz / Paixao would have signed then current players that could be sold for biggest PSR relief would have had to be sold (Willy, tPirate, Ao, etc).
They believe in their medical team to keep DCL, Nmecha, Okafor, etc on the pitch like Solomon and others.
Guess we can only see in time if building from the back was the correct way to approach it.

Niners are terrified of psr.
Brownhill possibly back on.
Brownhill possibly back on.

But then again thats just logic speaking and not listening to the spin zone.

If tweet fails to load, click here. But for real, if they can get Brownhill it would be nice to provide cover with another attack minded guy in midfield. With Tanaka out it kind of shows we don't have anyone else to really do that job

That’s what I’ve read too - PSR doesn’t kick in until next summer - do what you have to do to survive this year and worry about PSR next summer, obviously within reason, but going over $20-30m wouldn’t have killed them (if I understand it correctly).
Staying up is worth a heck of a lot more than 20-30m.
Regardless, it’ll be interesting to see how it all works out. Our defense and midfield should be good enough (baring injuries) to stay up, our attack obviously isn’t. Will it be enough? Who knows.
I wonder if us getting 4 points in 3 played a part in the desperation not being there to sign additional players.

We have yet to score from the run of play in three Premier League matches. I have no idea how they plan to remedy this situation with what players are available. Maybe move Okafor up top whenever he is fit. Who knows?
