Newcastle took a page out of Leeds weekend playbook and completely shithoused their way to point. Arsenal fan was super pissed
Edit: is this the final nail in the coffin for Frank?

State of Newcastle wasting time against Arsenal.

Everton fans have to be super pissed. Brighton’s 4th goal was basically the soccer equivalent of Ed Orgeron coaching football.
ETA for link to goal
I don’t really know what a foul in this sport is when it comes to upper body contact. It looked like this would have been a blind side block call in football but it worked out for Brighton anyway.

Yeah that was a really physical connection on that play, how the hell is that not a foul on someone? Is it because they were both going for the ball?
Also, glad Pickford’s punk arse got caught out on that shitty pass to the Brighton guy.
I’m sure he was super happy today on the pitch.

Don’t miss your chance to get Moyes sacked for the hammers.

From the Twittersphere today

FI SOURCES!
- Leeds fear Patrick Bamford faces an extended spell on the sidelines.
- The striker is continuing to struggle with his recovery from a hernia operation.
- The club fear he will be out for longer than expected.

Sports hernias can be really tricky. The problem is that soccer players truly struggle with them as the adductors and core (ab muscles) all attach at the site of the “hernia” (not a true hernia) and both of these muscle groups contract pretty hard when you’re stabilizing yourself for a pass, shot, etc. It took Paxton Pomykal over a year to fully recover, with a few setbacks, and really derailed his career.

He got operated on by that famous german groin expert woman so if that didn’t help he might be properly fricked

The news on Patty is the least surprising thing I’ve heard today. Really hate it for him, seems like a solid guy. I’ve listened to most of the official Leeds podcasts and it’s always a good pod when he’s on.
So is Wober coming in as an automatic starter? Sub? Somewhere in between?

I think he could play in the fa cup if he’s settled in by the weekend. He’s been playing LB for Austria too. I think long term Struijk will move back over to LCB in place of Cooper. Cooper was excellent against Newcastle though. He’s one of those guys where he has a bad game and you think he’s done then he comes back and follows it up with a great one. We need to get Gyokeres or someone in up top but i feel like it’ll drag towards the end of the window. Most January activity seems to happen either very early like Wober or right at the end of the month where clubs are waiting for other moves to happen.

Is he the one that ditched us at the last minute, after the Gakpo meeting, and then failed his physical where ever he decided to go anyway?
