Well 2-2 now

Sounds like Santos is playing at home

Really wish some of these were played in Mexico to give MLS sides real road test

Houston wins 5-4 in PKs to grab the extra point.

I’m pretty sure playing in Houston against a Mexican team qualifies

Once the big Mexican clubs start their matches it’s going to be home away from home for them

Cruz Azul had a decent showing of fans even being Messi’s debut

Hope so. Hear some predictions it will be close to 50/50 split here in Portland tomorrow.
I find that hard to believe but hope so. That would be wild.

Tigres is the probably the second biggest club in the tournament after Club America so it’s definitely a possibility

In the states

LigaMX gets very good tv ratings , basically double what MLS gets.

Also saw an article on how none of the Mexican broadcasters picked up showing the leagues cup on tv as they didn’t believe it was a serious competition

Forcing Mexicans to subscribe to season pass, basically funding the league that is now their biggest competitor

How many Mexicans who bought season pass will be interesting bc the price isn’t worth it to just watch a month long tournament

Depends if they're a big fan of Messi or not

See that this morning, looks like I jinxed the MLS teams outside of Philly. I watched that game last night

Timbers looked good. Took a red card to lose. I didn’t think it should have been a red.

Brandon Vasquez had an 8 minute brace against Chivas. Currently 2-0 in a lightning delay with Chivas down a man due to last man foul.
