I laud you for your commitment, but as usual he will continue to move the goalposts

You didn’t have a response for this
But we also going to ignore that them going all in on that tournament killed their league form bc they lack any depth
Much like the rest of MLS other than LAFC struggles to compete on multiple fronts
The big 3 in Portugal have much better depth

You two are so cute
Also with no sense of humor I was taking a jab at LigaMX

He needs to get his shite together and see the pitch

Is this the part where you say I'm shilling for MLS?

If he's healthy, he will feature in the XI for Milan.

You can’t quit me
Both LigaMX teams and MLS teams have struggled to maintain their league form while competing in the CL. Hopefully the Messi move means increased salary cap. Plus the academies help with the depth issue but that’s tough since the good prospects jet for Europe.

All the owners are paying his wages, so I wouldn’t count on anything wild. They don’t even want to increase squad sizes

Tigres and Leon seemed to be pretty consistent

Yea the dudes who stay really are not that good
We had the discussion before about the reason franchises actually started MLS academies and it isn’t to improve their squad to fend off relegation

As much as I loved Landon as a player, they really need to take the microphone away from that dude.

The good ones go to Europe. Can’t have your cake and eat it, too.
You still have guys like Herrera, Glad, Yueill, Amaya, Haak, Gray, Muyl, Pineda, Acosta, Rosenberry, Cerrillo, Farfan, etc who help to raise the floor while allowing teams to spend more on attacking players.

Obviously not the latter but you’re insane if you think owners don’t want their academies producing cheap starters/depth pieces.

Landon doesn’t want to be the only MNT superstar who backed down from a challenge and never reached his full potential.
Landon played in europe multiple times and did well.

Landon is a moron. He lost his marbles long ago.

Exactly the problem with MLS and American national team players not having to fight week in and week out for their place at their club like in Europe.
What would you have said if he went to Fulham? There’s an American mentality in all of our other sports where athletes want starting roles and to play every game. No one’s trying to go to sit on the bench anywhere and “fight for their spot”.

There is a reason so many franchises were reluctant to invest actual resources in academies or to even start them
Seeing FC Dallas make money changed their minds

What type of pussy mentality is this to shy away from challenges and competition

quote:it’s the American way with the transfer portal and free agency being what it is. An athlete’s biggest fear is rotting away on the bench. It helps them more to be playing regularly except in some very specific situations (rookie QBs learning, ring chasing NBA vets)

Still waiting on your source for owners not wanting expanded rosters.
