Well considering they had one player called into camp who had it and another player contract it while they were in camp and both of the players were forced to miss games, it's obvious why.
I get it, you hate COVID and are sick of it controlling everything, but fact of the matter is that there are rules in place for better or for worse. The US isn't in a bubble because they are scared of COVID, they are in a bubble because they don't want the rules to frick them over.
It's not that hard to figure out.
Regardless of what Clay Travis tells you, not every decision made in regards to COVID is some crusade against your beliefs and freedoms.

[quote]You straight up made up a narrative about Broadway, strange and whatever the hell else, knowing jack shite about what actually happened. At least Donovan is allegedly ITK.
Which is why I was going off of what Donovan was saying.
And based on what was reported, inviting people into the bubble and spending the night outside the bubble, that's basically what happened.
Cry some more.

Sounds like Matt Turner is a raging pansy, not surprising from a goalie.
Weston is the first reason to have hope for US soccer in a long time.

The guy who said he was afraid of driving around Dallas when he comes home because he’s black?

I was a college letterman FWIW. And you can go out without getting trashed. You can hook up with a girl while only having a joint and a glass of wine and be ready for a 6AM workout.
He didn’t get get in trouble for being drunk btw - he went in trouble for breaking the “Covid bubble”.

That’s not the same as being a pro athlete and partying the night before a game, my god you are dumb as shite
This isn’t Tony Adams in his heyday. If you even really know who that is

Probably a combination of both. Doing so is still unprofessional as shite

The thruth is, we don't know what is going on in tha tlocker room, but we can make some educated guesses based upon the things Broski has posted from the media and quotes from the team.
And one of the biggest challenges for any international side is to act and play like a team. There's limited practice time and let's face it, your paycheck comes from your club. The national team is not your first loyalty, so the most important job of an international manager is somehow crafting a feeling of a team.
That's why this was a good suspension. If some of the players were asking for it in public, it at least hints at a fractured locker room, and you have to nip that sort of stuff in the bud. By suspending one of his best players for a crucial game, Berhalter can now honestly tell his team that no player is above the team. And while that stuff is sort of hokey, players eat that sort of stuff up.
If they play their cards right, this could be the turning point for the team where it all comes together. McKennie can come back into the fold, and the locker room can preach that it places nation over self. This can be that unifying moment where they become a team, and show their emotional commitment to the USMNT.
It's a gutsy move by Berhalter which could have blown up spectacularly.

These guys need to mature a long way fast. Really love the talent but a few guys seem to really be getting a big head from their club success.
