Wait...
You're saying Jurgen had no hand in that.
This is almost as bad as your Pulisic take.

No. I just don’t have red white and blue blinders on like 90% of this board.

Jurgen did plenty wrong, but he had the team and organization as a whole in a much better place than we are now.

As long as Trapp and Zardes make the first team....it is worse.

Actually, it's about in the same spot where he left it which sits squarely on the USSF, but Jurgen definitely had the program trending downward.

You saw it coming when every big name on the team moved to the MLS

Refresh my memory. Which players besides Bradley and Jozy came back to MLS? Not counting guys like Howard, who were near the end of their careers.

Dempsey leaving Spurs for Seattle was a dumb move. He could've finished his career in England.

He could have, but he was already almost 31 when he moved back.

I believe just Bradley and Jozy. Probably unanimously two of our three ‘best’ players at the time with the third being Clint.

Injuries probably took a greater toll on Jozy than MLS did.

You're still conceivably in your prime at 30. Regardless, it was too early of a move back.

Had a really good 2019. 13 goals, 6 assists in 30 games. Missed all of 2018 with an injury.

Really, GAM deserves all of the blame for that weird European-exodus in 2013-15. He convinced Deuce to come back to Seattle and Bradley saw how much he got paid and the love from the fans and decided to do the same, Jody followed.
