So you're saying it's acceptable to claim to be a fan of Auburn and let's say Va Tech, Texas, and Oregon? You're right, I do think that's stupid.
I love Auburn and North Carolina. If you think that's stupid, you're obviously just a Chelsea troll.

It's much more authentic and rewarding to have one club to live and die by.
Hilarious to see a Chelsea guy make this comment.

Second of all, and more seriously, there is no competition these two teams can ever compete it so it's not really a valid comparison. What are you multiple team fanboys going to do when your four "clubs" are in the semifinals of the Champions League?
If Man U, Inter, Celtic, and Real Madrid (not really a huge fan of the last two) made it to the Final 4 of the Champions League, I would be an extremely happy man.

Says the fan of the biggest bandwagon on the planet.

Lame.

If you "love" both, yes that's stupid. If you "love" Auburn and like to see UNC do well that's fine.

Manchester City and Chelsea on lines one and two.

Great comeback. Would read again.
I'm with Hendo, this is golden to see a Chelsea fan get all elitist on how people should cheer for their teams.

Love Auburn University with all my heart.
I have loved Carolina basketball from the time I could walk.
Also, wanting to see UNC would do well would classify me as a...fan...of UNC, no?

There are more Man Utd fans than Chelsea and City combined.

That's your biggest problem.

Doesn't necessarily make them more of a bandwagon...

Established Bayern Munich and USMNT Genius Poster > Some New Chelsea Troll

If Wolverhampton and Real Madrid ever meet in the UCL Finals, then I will post Stuart Holden nudes.

Come on dude at least be honest with yourself. 98% of the people on this board are bandwagon fans. At least stick to one bandwagon.

Constantly posting pics of Germans and wishing AIDS on all of Mexico and Giuseppe Rossi makes one a genius? I figured this board would have higher standards. God how awesome was it watching Schweiny choke to hand Chelsea the Champions League in Munich. Couldn't have been more poetic.

What's your definition of a "bandwagon"? Because we obviously have different terms.

Those are jokes.
And he's got some great insight on tactics and whatnot. When he's being "serious" it's good stuff.

If you knew anything, you'd know that Schweinsteiger did not choke. It was a well struck penalty that was unlucky. Choke is what John Terry did against Manchester United.
You can get off of your high horse and count the stars on the Bayern jersey if you think your little trolling is going to hurt my feelings.

Fair enough. But unless you or someone in your very immediate family have some sort of real connection to the city of Manchester I would call that bandwagon. Unless I read it wrong you chose them because you liked them on FIFA, which I'm not hating on because we all got drawn to our teams for one reason or other. However, to me that's still jumping on a bandwagon. I'll agree it doesn't necessarily make you, or me, less of a fan though.

He was scared shitless and choked. Watch his giddy up approach and compare it to the one he struck in Madrid, no confidence. This coming from someone who respects Bastian and his game.

Slipping in the rain? Still no excuse to miss the frame but it's laughable that you claim Terry "choked" and Schweinsteiger was simply "unlucky". At least take that crushing loss like a man.

Congrats you had a good run for three years in the 70s before you were even alive. In the other 100+ years of your history you have the same number of European titles as Chelsea. Today's geneartion of soccer fan knows Bayern as the team who has now pissed away two CL titles in the last minutes and stoppage time, once at home.

Thats not what it means... it means that you become a fan of the team when they are winning and stop following when they start to lose...

You're not good with percentages.
And how did you become a fan of Chelsea?
(To me, being a bandwagon means you hop on and off only when teams are good. I started following ManU because of a video game, yes, but it's not like if they drop to midtable I'll stop following them and start rooting for Spurs. That's being a bandwagon.)

1 should be the only answer. How come soccer is the only sport where it seems to be acceptable to have multiple clubs? How stupid would it be if you said I'm a Chargers, Falcons, Cowboys, and Jets fan?
There are multiple leagues. You cheer for your high school's football team and the Chargers/Falcons/Cowboys/Jets at the same time, right?
