I'm not trying to single anyone out, But really to anyone who says shite about Chelsea this year I can just shake it off. My favorite team are the Champions of Europe until someone knocks them out. I see people flame Chelsea fans then Chelsea fans get all pissed about it, I just laugh it off and rewatch the game. Still get chills listening to Gary's scorgasm off Drogba's header and when he walks up to take that last PK.

Meh, if you posted a poll. Everyone in the sports world will say Chelsea probably had one of the luckiest run of all time. You have to have luck in tournaments and they had a shite ton.
Also, If you do a poll to name to the top 5 teams in Europe. I don't think Chelsea would be in the top 5.

Actually never been to NOLA , really wanted to go to Sugar Bowl couple years ago but couldn't justify sending that money with a newborn. Kind of glad I didn't go in hindsight . Still wake up yelling scoop and score

I completely agree that we had luck along with strategy. No way last years team could beat Barca playing an open game especially man down. Against Bayern I think the match up was closer because both teams had some better players out with suspensions and Hitlers wet dream was banged up pretty bad. Team went out, played one hell of a defensive game and capitalized on the opportunities given.
And with the upgrades this summer I fully expect the team to be better overall than last years team. Excited to see who else is targeted and signed, if we hadn't won CL no way could we have signed Hazard or afford to spend nearly as much as we will.

Which is why I'm super glad the Champions League is decided on the field and not in a newsroom, or worse by a computer, like a certain other sport.

I need to hop on the bandwagon of a top premiership team. Not going to be Chelsea, don't think it will be Man U or Arsenal, looking like it will be either Man City, Liverpool, or Tottenham.
Fan of AC Milan because I am a big fan of Ibrahimovic.
FWIW- most of this is based off of FIFA and Kits but also my brother lived in London for a bit so I go off a little of what he says.

The Greece Euro was before I started watching but I heard they pretty much parked the bus and countered like hell right?
Now in the group stage and vs Napoli and Benefica we played normal ball. Against Barca hell yea we played "anti-football." Barca would have killed if we didnt especially second leg.
Against Bayerm it was more of a necessity than want. With no Ramires or Ivanovoc we had to play Jose Bosingwa and Ryan Bertrand. Bertrand normally is a db and was brought in to keep Robben in check to help Cole push when he could. On the other side Kalou's main responsibilirpty was helping track Ribery so he didn't torch Bosi and our two CB who both were playing their first match after injuries. I still kind of wish we started Torres instead of Bertrand but with our d already being suspect had to ball up or get shredded.

You may want to consider Newcastle as well.
The best bets for the top clubs in England next year are the teams that made the Champions League because you will get to root for them domestically and in a meaningful European tourney. By that logic, I guess I am suggesting Man City.

With Spurs and Newcastle not making CL they lost out on a lot of money and Spurs mainly have to worry bout losing players (Modric to Chelsea finally...).
My friend is an Arsenal fan so I watch them with him and they're a pretty enjoyable team. City is the new Chelsea with a Saudi sugar daddy instead of a James Bond villian.
