How does it feel for the rest of the world watching our 2nd tier athletes drag them?

I know it’s an age-old saying, but if all our top athletes chose soccer, the world wouldn’t stand a chance. Think about Darren Sproles or Tyreek Hill torching Mexicans. The whole world should be grateful that Lebron didn’t choose soccer. There would be no Messi or Ronaldo debate. Lebron would easily clear both, and would also clear Pele and Maradona. We would win the World Cup every time. The image of Lebron lifting the World Cup with the Lebron James of soccer Christian Pulisic at the end of his international career would be immortalized with a statue in Washington. The world should be thanking us for giving them a break. Let’s win this bih.

Didn’t read past the first sentence. Just stop.

The “if only our best athletes played soccer we would dominate” was a trendy argument 20 years ago but doesn’t hold up if you know anything about soccer development in this country. Athleticism is not why we aren’t France or Spain.

Get your stupidity off this board and back where it belongs
The best part of this place was we didn't have to deal with your dumb arse

Sorry you hate America. Maybe you should cheer for Canada.

We are rated as the most athletic team in every world cup we've been in, by all the metrics. And look where it's gotten us.
We had a guy a few years back clocked as the fastest player in the Premier League and he barely saw the field and is still trying to get on the field in Englands 2nd tier.
ETA and as a baseball fan you should know better than this, we can't even win the international tournament in that

But think about if the best from football, basketball, and baseball chose soccer.
Think about a Mexican getting torched by Tyreek Hill for 70 minutes, then Hill gets subbed off for Rashid Shaheed. Imagine if THE JUDGE played soccer. We might not ever lose!

Ghana was always clearly more athletic than us when we played

Aaron Judge would be even less clutch in soccer than he is in baseball, Jerry.

To be fair, that wasn't due to lack of athleticism or skill. That was because we made a mental midget in Aaron Judge the team captain.
Dude is such a loser that he grounded into a double play with the bases loaded against a 17-year-old high schooler from Georgia pitching for Brazil.
It's fitting that a loser like Jerry is a fan of a loser like Judge.

Just because someone is good at football or basketball doesn't mean they'll be elite at soccer.

THE JUDGE was one of the few Americans that actually performed in the WBC dummy. Keep up the internet tough guy act, you know you wouldn’t say any of that to my face.

I keep hearing this meme since the 80s, how if we got our football behemoths to play, we'd dominate.
Soccer is a very equitable sport when it comes to body types. Plus it relies on heavy amounts of conditioning so all that muscle mass is a liability.

No cap, but if those athletes chose soccer from the jump than they would be elite type shxt.

I mean that's kind of the point tho. We've only won it once and thats with "our best athletes".

Apologies, I just needed an avenue to troll Jerry for his love of a career loser like Aaron Judge.
