Could FIFA have Just stated there was no offside call to cover up a bad call?
The ref usually calls the goal kick, not the linesman.
I tjink that is FIFA covering ip a blatant mistake.

Nah, I think you're way too worried about finding a conspiracy here. On that shot, it's hard to tell straight on if it was just that poorly hit or if the keeper gets a touch to send it flying off. The AR (linesman) likely just wanted to make sure the center ref knew it was a goal kick.

He was on the roster to be in THAT spot at THAT time to bury THAT shot. That's going to stick with him for a long time.

Actually, Wondo was on the roster as the goal poacher. That is his role. Well, he had a chance to "poach" one right at the top of the 6 and shanked it. No, it wasn't the easiest of finishes, but it's one that a man touted as a goal-scorer should finish.

Yeah, he definitely botched up another sitter in ET off of a good cross along the ground from Yedlin. Just let it hit his back foot for no apparent reason instead of stuttering his run just enough to line up the shot.

Yedlin was not offsides, in that gif you can see his head and shoulders appear (bottom left)at the very end and he doesn't appear to be offsides.

Yea to me it looks like even if he puts that on target it's right off the keeper, probably should have headed it

I can live with Wondo putting it right into Courtois' gut. It's very hard to accept that he put it over the bar like that.
