Hell yeah!

We might have a chance to actually fix this mess now. I have no problem with Sunil sticking around to help with our World Cup bid and managing the financial side of things. He should have announced this much sooner, but I'll give him a bit of respect for doing the right thing and stepping down in the end. Not all powerful men would do the same.

But we need a new president who knows the game inside and out, and is willing to make drastic changes in US Soccer. Either Wylanda or Martino would be fine with me. I'd probably prefer Martino if it came down to it. Anyone but another Sunil clone. Thoughts?

Throw the bank at Pekerman after next year's World Cup. Or just grab some German or the guy that turned Belgium around.

An overhaul would honestly be tough b/c I'm not sure that position has the power to do it, esp. overnight.

This is easily the best news of the night... I'm 100% behind Martino, I think he's got a great vision for the USSF

Are there any of the candidates that have stated they support US Professional Soccer moving to a promotion/relegation format like Europe and others use?

I think that's far down the list of issues that we need to be concerned about.
