We'd not need a result vs Germany.

Damn what a good game.
We have to win tomorrow.
We have to win tomorrow.

To win the group we'd need to tie

We still have goal differential on Ghana so that's good.
Yeah, but that's only because we're not even in points. Virtually no chance we'd advance over Ghana if we both finish with four points. They'd be (at minimum) tied with us in GD, and their tie being 2-2 and not 1-1 or 0-0 means they'd likely score more goals than us, which is the next tiebreaker.

Alright, that's enough looking ahead. One game at a time. I'll start speculating again after tomorrow's game

With a win tomorrow we could lose by 1000 to Germany. Ghana can only get a max of 4 points and Portugal 3

2-2 means there is no differential, no?

Ghana's point ceiling is now 4. If we beat Portugal tomorrow, their point ceiling will be 3. Meanwhile, the US will have 6 pts., meaning that we advance.
In other words, we are in with a win on Sunday.

Outstanding match. Some Ghanaian players may be looking at making some serious bank in the future.

Overall piracy is actually down as countries began to take a collective stand against it.

Perfect fricking result since we gon' win this shite tomorrow.

I'm talking about the tiebreaker after that, which is goals scored. If two teams have the same goal differential, the next tiebreaker is goals scored.
Let's pretend we tie Portugal tomorrow 1-1 and then lose to Germany 2-1, while Ghana beats Portugal 2-1. The final standings are this:
Germany: 7 points
Ghana: 4 points (GD: 0, goals scored: 5)
USA: 4 points (GD: 0, goals scored: 4)
Portugal: 1 point
Ghana advances over us because we have the same goal differential but they have more goals scored. So, from the US's perspective, a 0-0 tie today would have been better than 2-2.
